QC seeks to enhace trade ties with Kuwait and Sweden

Qatar's top trade representative, Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani, met with the Ambassadors of Kuwait and Sweden to discuss enhancing economic and trade ties between Qatar and these two countries. During these meetings, the focus was on strengthening bilateral trade, exploring new areas of cooperation, and boosting partnerships between the private sectors of Qatar, Kuwait, and Sweden.

The discussions centered on identifying ways to deepen economic and trade relations between Qatar and Kuwait. Both sides emphasized the significance of ongoing communication between the private sectors of the two countries to explore opportunities for growth and mutual benefit. Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim also met with Josefin Simonsson Broden, the Ambassador of Sweden to Qatar.

The two discussed expanding cooperation between Qatar and Sweden, particularly in the fields of artificial intelligence, healthcare, and food security. The potential signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Qatar Chamber and the Swedish Chamber of Commerce was also explored, aiming to further develop private sector partnerships and investments in both nations.
