PM Shehbaz, Kuwait Crown Prince discuss stronger economic cooperation

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held discussions on Tuesday with Kuwait's Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah during the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The meeting aimed to explore methods to bolster bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Kuwait, as per a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office.

The dialogue centered on Pakistan-Kuwait relations and prospects for expanding collaboration in sectors of shared interest. The Prime Minister extended heartfelt greetings to the Kuwaiti Crown Prince and reiterated Pakistan's deep and fraternal bonds with Kuwait. Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the potential for increased cooperation in trade, investment, energy, and human resource development.

The leaders also exchanged perspectives on regional and global developments, reaffirming their joint dedication to fostering peace, stability, and prosperity. The meeting occurred on the sidelines of the high-level segment of the UN General Assembly's 81st session in New York. Shehbaz Sharif embarked on his visit to New York on Tuesday to participate in the UNGA session.

Throughout his stay, the Prime Minister will engage in bilateral meetings with other world leaders attending the UN General Assembly session, providing an opportunity to discuss matters of mutual interest and international significance.
