NPP will be out of opposition in just two years – Afoko vows

Awentami Paul Afoko, the National Chairman hopeful for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is confident that the party will be out of opposition within two years. Speaking to delegates in the Western, Central, and Eastern Regions, Afoko emphasized the importance of party unity to secure victory in the 2028 general election. He vowed to work tirelessly to reunite all factions of the NPP under one banner ahead of the election.

Afoko's campaign blueprint, the 3Rs (Reunite, Rebuild, Recapture Power), aims to strengthen grassroots structures, revamp constituency and polling station organization, and restore confidence in the party. He urged delegates to set aside differences and rally behind him, promising that with unity, the party would not only avoid opposition but also reclaim power.

The former National Chairman's tour has been met with enthusiasm, as constituency executives and TESCON members eagerly listen to his vision for the party's future. With the National Chairmanship election scheduled for October 3rd, Afoko is intensifying his efforts, relying on his message of unity and the 3Rs strategy to persuade delegates.
