No Cuts For Sidharth Malhotra-Tamannaah Bhatia Starrer The Vvaan; Movie Gets U/A 16+ Certificate From CBFC: Report

Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia's upcoming film, The Vvaan, is set to release on September 25, 2026. While the trailer received mixed reactions from audiences, the songs Chhathi Maiya and Thummak Thummak have garnered significant attention. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has recently granted the film a U/A 16+ certificate with no cuts or modifications required, according to a report by Bollywood Hungama.

An industry insider informed the portal that the film's makers carefully balanced the violence and romance, ensuring the story and dialogue were appropriate for the rating. The film has a runtime of 136.25 minutes, consisting of a first half at 1 hour and 4 minutes and a second half at 1 hour and 12 minutes. The Vvaan features an ensemble cast including Anup Soni, Sunil Grover, Shweta Tiwari, and Maniesh Paul, and is directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, known for the popular OTT series Panchayat.

Originally scheduled for an August 28, 2026 release, The Vvaan was postponed to avoid clashing with Yash and Kiara Advani's Toxic. Despite the absence of major competition from new releases, The Vvaan will have to compete with the re-release of Avengers: Endgame on the same weekend.
