Middle East flights: Air France, Wizz Air and British Airways extend suspensions

International airlines are adjusting schedules for Middle East flights following the Iran war, due to ongoing airspace restrictions in the region. Air France resumes flights to Tel Aviv but keeps Beirut flights suspended until September 25, with Riyadh and Dubai suspensions until September 28 and October 13, respectively. Wizz Air suspends services to Amman until September 26, and Dubai and Abu Dhabi until October 24.

British Airways revamps its schedule, with Dubai flights resuming on November 3 and Abu Dhabi suspensions lasting until the winter 2027-2028 season. Doha flights resume on September 1 at reduced frequency, while Tel Aviv and Riyadh services return on October 25 and November 3. Amman services begin on November 4. Cathay Pacific suspends flights to Dubai and Riyadh until November 30, offering flexibility to affected travelers.

Lufthansa and Swiss resume flights to Dubai, while Austrian Airlines starts Vienna-Dubai services in December. Eurowings renews three German-Dubai routes. American Airlines extends its travel alert for Tel Aviv until March 2027, allowing flexible bookings through April 2027. Delta extends its Atlanta-Tel Aviv suspension until December 18, and Boston-Tel Aviv launch is delayed.

Virgin Atlantic suspends Dubai flights until October 2027, with resumption tickets available later. Air Canada extends Tel Aviv and Dubai suspensions until January 2027. Finnair and KLM continue to suspend flights to Dubai and Doha until March 2027, while KLM resumes Tel Aviv services via Cyprus.
