Up until now, corporate adoption of Apple devices in Pakistan faced challenges due to a lack of direct support, leading organizations to rely on informal markets or indirect sales channels.
Nauman Durrani, CEO of Pakistan and Senior Vice-President of SAGE Mercantile, stated that companies could save up to Rs80,000 per handset by purchasing Apple products like iPhones through formal, PTA-approved channels instead of the grey market, which includes locations like Dubai. With this collaboration, businesses will now have the ability to source bulk quantities of Apple products directly, leading to improved customer experience and cost savings.
The partnership will also facilitate centralized device enrollment and security policy enforcement, which is vital for banking and corporate data protection. Additionally, Mercantile Care service centers in Islamabad, Lahore, and soon Karachi will provide localized after-sales support.
