Indian bonds steady as RBI rate hike expectations strengthen

MUMBAI: Indian government bonds were broadly unchanged in early deals on Tuesday, as market participants braced for more liquidity removal ahead of next month’s monetary policy decision, when an interest rate hike is largely priced in. The benchmark 6.94% 2036 bond yield was at 7.0516%, as of 10:30 a.m.

PSX: Buying coninues, KSE-100 gains over 400 points

Buying continued at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), with the benchmark KSE-100 Index gaining over 400 points during the opening minutes of trading on Tuesday. At 10:10am, the benchmark index was hovering at 171,562.37, up by 409.21 points or 0.24%.
