Jalgaon: Class 7 Student Dies By Suicide After Being Denied Permission To Attend Ganesh Immersion

Jalgaon witnessed a tragic incident where a seventh-grade student, Jayesh Sandeep Patil, allegedly took his own life. The incident occurred at his home in Ghumaval, Chopda taluka. The primary reason behind this heartbreaking event appears to be the denial of permission to attend the Ganesh immersion procession scheduled for Sunday, the seventh day of the festival.

Jayesh's insistence on attending the procession led to a disagreement with his parents. They asked him not to join the procession immediately, instead requesting that he continue studying until it reached their neighborhood. Despite his parents' wishes, Jayesh became upset over the decision. In a moment of distress, he is believed to have gone to the third floor of the house and taken his own life by hanging.

Upon realizing that Jayesh was missing, his parents searched the house and discovered him hanging. He was rushed to a doctor, but tragically, medical professionals declared him dead. The police have registered a case of accidental death following the unfortunate event.
