How Long Is Silent Hill: Townfall?

Silent Hill: Townfall, the latest entry in the nu-Silent Hill era from Konami, offers players multiple endings to uncover and numerous scares. To determine how long the game takes to complete, IGN enlisted five of its team members to play the game using different strategies. The duration of each playthrough varied, showcasing the diverse experiences of Silent Hill: Townfall.

The fastest player, Jesse Gomez, completed the game in 12 hours and 37 minutes. Gomez aimed to experience as much of the game as possible, reaching the "Forever" ending. During his playthrough, he focused on uncovering as many secrets as he could, spending additional time on New Game Plus to locate hidden collectibles.

Matt Purslow, who played in a stealthy and cautious manner, took 15 hours and 15 minutes to finish the game. His approach involved avoiding combat whenever possible, using distractions to create openings. Purslow managed to avoid enemies and only killed them when absolutely necessary, yielding the "Abandoned" ending.

Dale Driver, playing on Story Mode, had the most straightforward experience, finishing the game in 12 hours and 37 minutes. This mode lessened enemy difficulty and provided more supplies, allowing Driver to take on more monsters than the other players. While his playthrough was quicker, Driver noted that certain late-game puzzles added significant time to his overall playtime.

Lauren Harper, the final player, took 15 hours and 8 minutes to complete her first playthrough. As an IGN guides team member, Harper spent extra time to find every collectible, meticulously checking drawers, cabinets, and locked rooms for hidden items. Her thorough approach left her with a "True Ending," demonstrating the game's complexity and rewarding nature.
