From X-ray Equipment To Diagnostic Reagents: Moscow’s Medical Exports To India Double

Moscow manufacturers exhibited a wide range of medical products at the Pharma MachTech & LabNext Expo 2026 in New Delhi from September 7-9. The city's leading medical manufacturers showcased infection-control equipment, molecular diagnostic reagents, haemostatic tourniquets, and collaborative robots for pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Maksim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry, highlighted Moscow's commitment to expanding international industrial cooperation and developing new markets in friendly countries. The Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone serves as the city's flagship for high-tech medical devices and pharmaceuticals. Mosprom, Moscow's export-support center, covered exhibit transportation costs and arranged meetings with Indian buyers.

Mosprom reported that Moscow medical exports to India doubled in the first half of 2026 compared to the same period in 2025, with key products including diagnostic reagents, X-ray equipment, and prosthetics. JSC TZMOI, a leading Russian medical-equipment manufacturer, displayed a steam steriliser and a washer-disinfector. Moscow-based collaborative-robotics developer ROBOPRO exhibited a robot for automated pharmaceutical packaging.

XEMA, another participant, showcased ELISA kits for various industries. Emergency medical solutions were represented by TBS haemostatic tourniquets from SHANS. The Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in India supported the Moscow companies' participation in the exhibition. Mosprom, established by the Moscow Government in 2019, assists industrial companies in expanding their investment activity, industrial exports, and agri-food exports, providing comprehensive support throughout the international market entry process.
