Etihad Rail opens Dubai to Abu Dhabi ticket bookings from AED 39

Etihad Rail tickets to and from Dubai are now available for purchase in anticipation of the highly anticipated September 30 launch date. Comfort fares are available at Dh39 per ticket, while premium fares are priced at Dh109. The inaugural train departs from the newly constructed Dubai Al Yalayis station at 6:14am, arriving in Abu Dhabi at 7:18am according to the railway company's official website.

Tickets can be procured through Etihad Rail's official website and mobile application. On the first day of operations, five trains will traverse the route between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The final train departing Abu Dhabi will arrive in Dubai at 18:47, while the concluding train from Dubai will reach Abu Dhabi at 19:18. Additionally, one train will make the journey from Dubai to Fujairah, with a ticket price of Dh39 and a travel time of one hour and ten minutes.

Early announcements regarding the Dubai Al Yalayis station reveal that the station will feature a WHSmith store, a Shot café, a Starbucks outlet, Thrifty Car Rental, and a Lulu bookshop. The station is situated adjacent to Jumeirah Golf Estates in Me’aisem First, directly opposite the Jumeirah Golf Estates Metro Station. It is accessible via the E311, E44, and D57 roads.

The station boasts direct access to the existing Dubai Metro Red Line through a 400-meter-long elevated pedestrian walkway. Upon the completion of the Gold Line in 2032, the station will serve as an interchange between the Red Line and the Gold Line. Al Dhaid Station in Sharjah is also set to open on the same day as the initial train service.
