El Corte Inglés relanza su negocio de energía y alarmas con Hogar 360

El Corte Inglés is revitalizing its energy and alarm business with the launch of Hogar 360. The company has already attracted over 100,000 customers to its security and energy services. El Corte Inglés is strengthening its position in energy and alarms by entering the gas market to enhance its commercial services portfolio. The new Hogar 360 brand will offer integrated services of energy, alarms, and tele-assistance through this new venture.

In September, the company began a pilot launch in five malls across Andalusia, with plans to expand to more locations in the future. These services are becoming a key growth driver for El Corte Inglés outside its retail business, with over 100,000 customers in its three service businesses (Energía El Corte Inglés, alarms, and tele-assistance with Sicor).

The company's entry into the gas market in April, under Energía El Corte Inglés, offers a single tariff for low, medium, and high consumption levels. Telecor, the company operating this segment, reported a 4.6% increase in revenue to €171.4 million in 2025, with energy sales accounting for 96.5% of the total. Despite the increasing costs of energy, Telecor's business grew due to an expanding client base, which requires investment in acquiring new customers.

The company's net income and EBITDA for the year were negatively impacted, but this was expected during the growth phase. For the current year, El Corte Inglés aims to expand its energy sales to new customers through competitive pricing, in-store and online sales channels, and superior customer service, while continuing to invest in customer acquisition and promoting the Hogar 360 project.
