Cross-Invigilation, Cross-Marking Made Compulsory in Punjab Schools

Punjab has made mandatory cross-invigilation and cross-marking during the first-term school-based assessment, as directed by the PECTA. The new instructions for schools emphasize the importance of maintaining transparency, fairness, and merit in the examination process. According to the guidelines, subject teachers will not be allowed to serve as invigilators for the papers in their respective subjects.

Cross-marking has been made compulsory in the first-term school-based assessment, ensuring that the marking is not done by the teachers who teach the subjects.
