The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has published Sample Question Papers (SQPs) and Marking Schemes (MS) for Class 10 and Class 12 Board Examinations scheduled for 2027. These SQPs, released on September 21, 2026, can be accessed via the CBSE Academic website, cbseacademic.nic.in. The announcement was made through an official notice on September 21, 2026.
The SQPs aim to give students and educators a comprehensive view of the question paper format and guide effective curriculum coverage. They should be utilized in classroom teaching and learning, focusing on real-life applications of concepts. For Class 10, SQPs are available at cbseacademic.nic.in/SQP_CLASSX_2026-27, and for Class 12, at cbseacademic.nic.in/SQP_CLASSXII_2026-27.
CBSE emphasized no alterations in the question paper design or assessment pattern for the 2026-27 academic year. Passing criteria for the upcoming exams will also remain consistent with the 2025-26 session. The SQPs serve as a uniform template to ensure comprehensive curriculum coverage across all schools.
CBSE encourages schools to incorporate the SQPs into teaching and learning activities. Students are urged to use them for exam preparation, familiarizing themselves with the format and applying concepts. Feedback or queries about the SQPs can be directed to cbsesqp@cbseshiksha.in.
