Atletico hit back at Mourinho over referee complaints

Mourinho's claims were based on defender Dean Huijsen being sent off early in the second half for pulling down Giuliano Simeone. However, the match report on Real's website stated that the defeat was due to "dreadful refereeing" by Ortiz Arias. Mourinho also commented on the match outcome, expressing the difficulties his team faced after playing 11 against 10. Despite the controversy, Simeone maintained respect for Mourinho and other coaches, emphasizing the need for dignity and respect in the sport.
