[Asian Games] S. Korea wins bronze in men's medley relay swimming

Tokyo - South Korea claimed bronze in the men's 4x100-meter medley relay swimming event at the Asian Games on Tuesday, setting a new national record in the process. The final lineup of Lee Ju-ho, Choi Dong-yeol, Yang Jae-hoon, and Kim Young-beom finished with a time of 3:31.97, narrowly missing out on the gold medal to China and Japan.

This marked the third medal for Kim, who already had two others in just three days in Tokyo. The previous national record stood at 3:32.05, achieved by the same team at the 2023 Asiad. The team that competed in the heats, consisting of Yoon Ji-hwan, Cho Sung-jae, Kim Ji-hun, and Hwang Sun-woo, also earned bronze medals. Hwang Sun-woo's third medal came in the men's 4x200m freestyle relay, following his bronze in the 100m freestyle event the day before.
