Adéla Reveals She Asked Nicole Kidman for Permission to Use Her Name on ‘Nicole Kidman’ Song

Singer Adéla has revealed she sought permission from Nicole Kidman to use the actress' name in her new song titled "Nicole Kidman." The track, which is part of Adéla's debut album PRIMA, has been gaining popularity. Before releasing the song, Adéla contacted Kidman’s team for approval, acknowledging that using someone's name without their consent might not be appropriate.

In a recent interview with Pop Crave, Adéla expressed her excitement about Kidman's blessing, saying she couldn't believe the Oscar-winning actress knew of her existence. The singer emphasized that receiving recognition from someone like Kidman, a legend in the industry, is truly remarkable. Adéla is not the first musician to draw inspiration from Kidman; her ex-husband Keith Urban also created several songs about their relationship, including "Gemini," "Without You," "Steal My Thunder," "Better Than I Am," and "Got It Right This Time (The Celebration)."

Kidman's involvement has made Adéla's song even more significant, as she is now part of a distinguished lineage of musicians who have written about the actress.
