In the second operation in Thika West, another person of interest was apprehended after a motorcycle chase through Kairi ended in a crash. The rider and his female passenger attempted to evade police during the chase, but the female passenger fled the scene. A motorcycle search yielded 300 rolls of bhang and an additional 3kg of the narcotic substance wrapped in yellow polythene. The person of interest has been taken to Kimuchu Police Station for further processing.
