On Sunday night, Las Vegas Aces star A'ja Wilson delivered a standout performance, tallying 30 points as her team edged out the Seattle Storm 98-77. Wilson, a four-time WNBA MVP, made an impressive 16 of 18 free throws and cemented her place in league history with her 49th career 30-point game, ranking second in this category. The Aces, boasting a 29-13 record, have claimed five consecutive victories and currently lead Atlanta by a single game in the race for third place in the standings.

The top four teams in the league will secure home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs. The Seattle Storm, who have suffered 18 consecutive losses, recorded their worst season record with a 8-35 mark. Rookie Flau’jae Johnson contributed 29 points, including a season-high five three-pointers, while Dominique Malonga added 25 points on 10 of 13 shots.

Jackie Young led the scoring for Las Vegas with a well-rounded game, netting 23 points and dishing out eight assists. For the Storm, Chelsea Gray tallied 15 points.
