VFA 2026 to honour Vietnam s securities investment funds

The Vietnam Fund Awards 2026 (VFA 2026) is set to take place on September 22 in Hanoi, marking the inaugural edition of this prestigious event. Organized by the Vietnam Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation, VIR, and FiinGroup, under the guidance of the State Securities Commission and the Ministry of Finance, the conference aims to establish a transparent benchmark for the fund industry while bringing together key stakeholders.

With the diversification of funds and investment products in the market, there is a growing need to expand the scale of the fund industry and empower institutional investors. The VFA 2026 will focus on the opportunities, challenges, and conditions required for the fund management industry to play a more significant role in mobilising, managing, and allocating long-term capital.

The event will feature an opening and policy orientation session, an overview of Vietnam's fund industry presentation, an awards ceremony recognizing top-performing funds, and a main discussion session addressing major issues facing the fund industry. These include restructuring the investor base in Vietnam's stock market through the development of the fund management industry and the creation of securities products and infrastructure to support its growth.
