The India Meteorological Department has issued a forecast of heavy rainfall for 14 districts in Telangana, including Hyderabad, on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. The IMD predicts that isolated areas in Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Rangareddy, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar and Nagarkurnool districts may experience heavy rainfall.

Thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds are also likely to occur in these areas, accompanied by heavy rain. Additionally, Hyderabad city will see a generally cloudy sky for the next 24 hours, with light to moderate rain or thundershowers expected at times. The maximum temperature is expected to reach around 32°C, while the minimum will be around 23°C.
