Teen boy and girl returning from coaching stopped, assaulted and molested in Bihar

Two teenagers, a boy and girl, were returning from coaching classes in Bihar's Jamui on September 19 evening when they were allegedly stopped, assaulted and molested by a group of men, according to videos that surfaced on social media. The incident occurred around 6-7 pm, and the police are currently investigating the matter.

The accused group of men surrounded the teenagers, questioned them, and subjected them to assault and molestation before allowing them to leave. In the videos, the girl can be seen repeatedly pleading with the men to let them go, while the boy apologizes to the group, explaining that they study at the same school and that everyone at home knows about them.

Despite their pleas, some individuals in the group allegedly touched the girl inappropriately, lifted her up, and attempted to flee with her. The boy was also seen riding the scooter with the girl behind him as several people surrounded them.

The girl is heard saying, "Please let us go, we will never come here again," while another video shows the accused group chasing the boy and girl. One of the men is seen pulling the boy by his collar, while another man is holding and lifting the girl, attempting to run away. The police took cognizance of the incident based on the videos and have identified those allegedly involved.

Superintendent of Police Vishwajeet Dayal stated that they have started taking action and that the accused will be arrested soon after they are traced.
