Taylor Frankie Paul Steps Away From ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ After Allegedly Failing Court-Ordered Drug Test, Citing ‘Disgusting’ Bullying From Castmates

Reality star Taylor Frankie Paul announced on Monday that she will be leaving the Hulu reality series "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" due to ongoing bullying from the cast. Paul expressed gratitude to the streaming platform for allowing her to return to the show after her controversial relationship with ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen.

However, in a Monday Instagram post, Paul stated she was removing herself from the series as she believed she was "deserving of all this pain and to a certain degree absolutely this is consequences of my actions." Paul's decision to leave the show came just days after reports emerged that she had failed a drug test ordered by a Utah court during her custody battles for her children, including one with Mortensen.

Paul attributed the treatment she endured from the cast as "bullying for months," specifically mentioning messages from a group that "wanted to get [her] to the point of committing suicide." This incident occurred while Paul was en route to shoot the introduction for Season 5, and she explained that she turned around and went home due to the messages.

Paul also expressed concern over the treatment she faced from the "entire cast plus some," who she claimed were "laughing about my kids." This incident has been echoed by cast member Mikayla Matthews, who announced her departure from the show, stating that she was "not comfortable being a part of something that continues to platform behavior I don't agree with, especially given my own experience growing up in a home with multiple forms of abuse."
