Sources: Warriors sign Summer League standout to final two-way contract

The Golden State Warriors have signed Gonzaga big man Graham Ike to a two-year, two-way contract following a strong performance in the Summer League championship. Ike, who averaged 10.0 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks in 10 games, helped Yaxel Lendeborg and the Summer League Warriors secure the title in Las Vegas. Expressing his belief in the group's ability to win, Ike said, "Winning basketball is at its highest level, especially early on in this summer league, just showing that I can win."

Ike will join LJ Cryer and Malevy Leons on the Warriors' final two-way spot, with the future of 2026 second-round pick Lajae Jones yet to be determined. The 28-year-old has a strong chance of getting considerable playing time due to the advanced age of the Warriors' roster. Coach Steve Kerr, known for utilizing two-way players, converted point guard Pat Spencer's contract to a standard deal last season and once drafted Memphis Grizzlies shooting guard Ty Jerome, who began his career in Golden State.

Coming from a program like Gonzaga, Ike's youth and athleticism will complement the aging frontcourt rotation of Draymond Green, Al Horford, and Kristaps Porzingis. A strong rebounder with good touch and basketball IQ, Ike saw the Warriors as the ideal team to showcase his play style. "This was the first option, and when I heard it, my agent and I — we made a mutual agreement that this was the best decision for me based off just the way that they play, the culture here, and just the organization that is whole, and such good people that are in this organization," Ike said in June.

His ability to adapt to the Warriors' spacing, continuity, and motion-heavy offenses, without predetermined actions, aligns well with his play style. Ike's mindset, as expressed at the Dubs' Summer League media day, indicates he is ready for the opportunity and prepared to seize it.
