São Paulo — The Federation of Muslim Associations of Brazil, the World Muslim Communities Council and the International Halal Academy are set to host the second seminar titled "Islamic Identity in Latin America" on September 29, October 6 and October 13. The event aims to promote dialogue, enhance understanding of Islamic values and showcase the harmonious coexistence between Muslim and non-Muslim communities across the Americas. The seminar will be held in three sessions, each featuring a distinct panel of discussion.
On the first day of the seminar, on September 29, the panel titled "Muslim Societies and the Foundations of Good Citizenship: A Fundamental Reading of Concepts and Values" will be explored. This session will propose a framework for developing a comprehensive legal system that accommodates the unique needs of Latin American Muslim communities.
Notable speakers at the event include former Brazilian President Michel Temer, Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, President of the World Muslim Communities Council, and Ali Zoghbi, President of FAMBRAS.
