Rohit Sharma names Indian cricketer he won't vacation with

Dubai: In the second episode of his new television show "Family Full House", Rohit Sharma faced a unique question from Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannah Bhatia. The former Indian captain was asked which cricketer he wouldn't go on vacation with. With a hesitant smile, Rohit Sharma replied, "We travel together the whole year together", alluding to the Indian national team's packed annual schedule.

After a moment of thought, he continued, "There's one guy. Very sweet but very messy. He is Rishabh Pant." The 39-year-old cricketer then explained his reasoning for excluding Pant from his vacation plans. "He has a bad habit, whenever we eat together, he puts his hands into everyone's plate and eats it with his hands". Surprisingly, Rohit Sharma's comment was made with a playful tone, as he later expressed his friendship with Pant.

"Rishabh, you are my friend, my brother, but I don't want to go on vacation with you," he concluded. Despite the duo's extensive journey together on and off the field, it has been some time since they last played together. Rishabh Pant last represented India on August 23 during the second Test match against Sri Lanka and is not part of India’s Asian Games 2026 cricket squad.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma has been absent from professional cricket for over two months, playing his last game for India on July 19 against England in the third ODI, scoring an impressive 138 runs. Now off the pitch, Rohit Sharma looks forward to replicating his success in his new hosting career, just as he did in his cricketing journey.
