Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition Now Official In Malaysia

In Malaysia, the realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition has officially debuted. Teasers for the exclusive model surfaced earlier in the month, but today sees the brand confirming the limited release. The special edition phone comes with a pair of TWS buds, the realme Buds T500 Pro. Both the phone and earbuds receive a premium price increase due to the licensing agreement.

The realme 16 Pro remains largely unchanged, sporting a 6.78-inch Full HD+ 144 Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max chipset, 12GB RAM, 512GB storage, and a 7,000 mAh battery with 80W charging. Cameras include a 200MP + 8MP rear setup and a 50MP front-facing camera. Running realme UI 7.0, the phone features an IP69 rating and the Quadra Light-Sensing Colour-Changing tech, allowing the Hogwarts crest to change colors under sunlight.

Meanwhile, the realme Buds T500 Pro also gets a Harry Potter Edition makeover, featuring 12.4mm titanium drivers, Hi-Res Audio certification, and LDHC 5.0 codec support. Battery life varies depending on usage, with 13.5 hours on their own and up to 56 hours with the case. Prices for the phone and earbuds increase from RM1,899 and RM199 to RM2,699 and RM399, respectively.

The special edition phone comes with a replica of Harry's trunk, Hogwarts acceptance letter, Platform 9 3/4 ticket, house bookmarks, character postcards, and a crest-adorned phone case. The earbuds feature a crest-colored charging case and a crossbody bag alternative.
