Raiders Rookie Calls Out Justin Herbert After Multiple Interception Game

The Las Vegas Raiders secured a 26-14 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, with the Raiders' defense holding Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert to a subpar performance. Herbert finished the game with 192 passing yards, one passing touchdown, and two interceptions, both of which were picked off by the Raiders' rookie cornerback, Hezekiah Masses.

The 2026 NFL Draft pick, who had joined the team as a fifth-round selection, expressed his frustration with Herbert during a post-game interview. "Herbert tried me twice and I was trying to make a play on the ball," Masses stated. "It's mine, it ain't no 50-50 ball." Despite high expectations for Herbert as he embarks on his NFL career under offensive coordinator Mike McDaniels' system, his early-season play has been disappointing.
