QC hosts Saudi business delegation

The Qatar Chamber hosted a delegation of Saudi businessmen, part of the Qatari-Saudi Joint Business Council, in Doha. Headed by Hamad bin Ali Al Shuwaier, the delegation also included Eng. Ali bin Abdul Latif Al-Misnad, a Qatar Chamber board member and chairman of the council's follow-up committee on the Qatari side. The purpose of this visit was to introduce the Saudi businessmen to Qatar's investment landscape, key opportunities, incentives, and facilities available to investors and the private sector.

At the Qatar Development Bank, the delegation received a briefing on the bank's financing programs, services, and solutions that support companies and projects. They also learned about the bank's role in fostering private-sector growth and competitiveness. At the Free Zones Authority, the Saudi delegation gained insight into Qatar's free zones ecosystem, including the incentives, facilities, and services available to investors and companies looking to establish or expand their operations in the country.

Eng. Ali Al-Misnad expressed that the visit allowed the Saudi delegation to gain a comprehensive understanding of Qatar's business environment, as well as the incentives and facilities offered to investors.
