Pakistani tech co Zuma Resources sets up UK subsidiary for global connectivity expansion

Pakistani technology company Zuma Resources has established a wholly owned subsidiary, Zuma Global Ltd, in the United Kingdom as part of its strategy to expand globally. The new entity, incorporated on September 18, 2026, under the UK Companies Act 2006, will focus on developing and expanding the group's technology and connectivity-related business operations.

Zuma Global Ltd will operate from a London office, with its principal activities including information technology consultancy, other IT services, and telecommunications activities.

Sohaib Anwar, a Pakistani national, has been appointed as director of Zuma Global. The company's UK operations will involve offering digital eSIMs, physical SIMs, and other connectivity solutions through Zuma's technology platforms, such as its global eSIM marketplace. This move is part of Zuma Resources' broader plan to build an international digital connectivity and technology business, with the UK serving as a key market and operating base for the group's expansion.

The company, previously known as Bilal Fibres Limited since its founding in 1987, changed its name to Zuma Resources Limited in August 2025. Zuma Resources has since been involved in investing, partnering, and collaborating with other technology, AI-enabled services, health tech, EV tech, e-commerce, and related businesses.
