Over 81,000 Ganesh idols immersed across Cyberabad in six days

Over 81,000 Ganesh idols were submerged at designated locations across the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation limits in a span of six days, according to the consolidated immersion report. The civic authorities deployed various teams, including sanitation, engineering, traffic, and safety personnel, to oversee the immersion process.

In total, 81,315 idols were immersed at 53 designated points. Of these, 66,530 were less than three feet tall, while 14,785 exceeded that height. Kukatpally Circle emerged as the hub for immersions, with 23,501 idols placed there, followed by Kompally with 11,526 and Serilingampally with 8,495. Jeedimetla, Miyapur, Chintal, Ameenpur, Allwyn Colony, Patancheru, Nizampet, Narsingi, Madhapur, Dundigal, and Medchal reported varying numbers of immersions.

Field-level coordination was maintained at all 53 points to ensure cleanliness, waste clearance, and smooth civic arrangements. The CMC Commissioner, G. Srijana, directed officials to continuously monitor the process, deploy necessary manpower, and coordinate with other departments for a seamless immersion experience. The civic body promised to continue monitoring and maintaining cleanliness at all designated locations throughout the immersion period.
