Old Farmer's Almanac weather forecast for September 21-30: What weather will the US see?

In the Ohio Valley, isolated showers may occur in the eastern half of the region while sunny conditions prevail in the western half through the last ten days of the month. Overall, the Upper Midwest is forecast to experience rainy periods and cool weather through the end of September.

The Heartland region may see rainy intervals and cooler temperatures through month's end. Sunny and hot weather is predicted for the Almanac's Heartland region through September 23, after which isolated thunderstorms and cooler weather are expected.

In the Deep South, sunny and warm conditions are expected through September 23, followed by isolated showers in the final week, with cooler temperatures developing in the north and milder weather in the south. Texas and Oklahoma may see sunny conditions in the north while the southern regions could experience isolated thunderstorms through September 25, accompanied by hot weather across the entire area.

The High Plains region may witness isolated showers alongside warm weather through the end of the month. The Intermountain Region is forecast to end with sunny skies followed by rainy conditions. The Desert Southwest may experience sunshine and very warm temperatures through September 22, after which rainy periods and cooler weather are expected from September 23 to 26. Sunny and cool weather concludes the month in the Pacific Northwest.

Alaska may see periods of rain and snow in the northern and central regions throughout the month's end. Meanwhile, Hawaii faces a potential tropical storm threat from September 23 to 25, with showers occurring in the north while the southern islands remain sunny.
