Kwabena Kwabena calls on FDA, Standards Authority over sachet water quality

Highlife musician Kwabena Kwabena has raised concerns about the quality of sachet water following a noticeable change in the color of water stored in his residence. In a video, he mentioned that he had switched to purchasing sachet water for cooking due to worries about the tap water's quality. However, he became alarmed upon observing that some of the sachet water he had stored for a few weeks had turned discolored.

Pointing to two sachets from the same package, Kwabena Kwabena highlighted the differences in their appearance and questioned the cause of the change, emphasizing the seriousness of the issue. He urged the Ghana Standards Authority and the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) to investigate the quality of sachet water sold to the public, expressing concern that consuming or using contaminated water for cooking could lead to consequences that consumers might not immediately detect.
