Kickoff, TV network set for Ohio State's Oct. 3 game vs Iowa

Ohio State's upcoming football game against No. 17 Iowa is set to begin at 3:30 p.m. ET on October 3, broadcast live on CBS. The Buckeyes will travel to Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City for the first time since 2017, when they suffered a 55-24 defeat. The last road victory against Iowa by Ohio State took place in 2010.

Wide receiver Jeremiah Smith played a crucial role in Ohio State's last meeting with the Hawkeyes during the 2024 season. He scored a 4-yard touchdown and amassed 89 yards on four receptions, contributing to a 35-7 Buckeyes win. For Iowa, this upcoming game against Ohio State marks their second consecutive matchup against a top-20 opponent. After opening Big Ten play against No. 18 Michigan on September 26, the Hawkeyes will face Ohio State the following day.
