Karachi Faces Another Spell of Hot and Humid Weather

Karachi is bracing for another heatwave, with the city bracing for another wave of high temperatures and humidity on Monday, according to the latest weather forecast. Humidity levels are expected to soar, exacerbating the perceived intensity of the heat and creating muggy, uncomfortable conditions for residents. Daytime temperatures are anticipated to hover between 37°C and 39°C, while the heat index may soar as high as 42°C.

The present temperature in Karachi is 27°C, with winds blowing at a gentle 8 kilometres per hour. Relative humidity is sitting at 62 percent, and weather conditions are expected to remain hot and humid throughout the day, with no significant likelihood of rain.

The rest of Pakistan is forecast to experience mainly dry weather, while mountainous regions are expected to enjoy partly cloudy skies during the afternoon. Temperatures in major cities like Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, and Gilgit will range from 21°C to 28°C, providing a stark contrast to Karachi's scorching heat. In Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar, Leh, and other northern regions will enjoy partly cloudy and dry weather, while Jammu is expected to remain hot and dry.

With no rain in sight, Karachiites can expect to endure another spell of sweltering, humid weather, with temperatures and humidity levels posing a challenge to the city's residents.
