Jeonbuk National University partners with defense companies on career-linked program

Jeonbuk National University has formed a partnership with 15 defense companies and related organizations to launch an industry-academia cooperation program. This initiative, which encompasses education, scholarships, field training, and employment, aims to bridge the gap between academia and the defense industry. The university's Department of Advanced Defense Technology and Industry organized a workshop titled "Customized Talent Development and Recruitment-Linked Cooperation Program for the Defense Industry" at Shilla Stay Jeonju.

This workshop, attended by university officials and representatives from the defense companies and related organizations, was held on Thursday. The memorandum of understanding, signed in June, was translated into concrete actions during the workshop. Fifteen defense companies and related organizations are involved in this partnership, which includes Hyundai Rotem, Korea Aerospace Industries, LIG Defense & Aerospace, HS Hyosung Advanced Materials, Danam Systems, and DN Sol.
