Investors gain direct access to Wall Street equities via Bitget Wallet and Reality

Bitget Wallet, a self-custodial crypto wallet with over 100 million global users, has partnered with Reality, a regulated tokenized asset issuance protocol. This integration allows users worldwide to access over 1,700 tokenized US stocks and ETFs, including major companies like Nvidia, Tesla, Apple, and Amazon. The tokenized assets, known as rTokens, are backed one-to-one by the underlying US shares held at Alpaca Securities, a FINRA-registered broker-dealer. Daily reserves are independently attested by a third-party CPA firm.

Orders during US market hours route to real Nasdaq and NYSE liquidity, ensuring the user sees the actual market price rather than a synthetic copy. The integration is now live on Arbitrum and Morph networks. Alvin Kan, COO of Bitget Wallet, explains that Reality's model differs from others because it provides real shares, liquidity, and dividends while keeping users in control of their private keys.

Beyond equities, rTokens enable new uses for these assets onchain. Dividends on eligible rTokens are paid directly into a user's wallet in stablecoins. Stock splits and other corporate actions are automatically reflected, and rTokens can be used as collateral or integrated into other onchain applications. Alice Li, Head of Reality, notes that this integration makes rTokens accessible across a wider ecosystem through open APIs, allowing wallets, exchanges, and protocols to connect directly to rToken liquidity without building infrastructure from scratch.

In Africa, where exchange rates are relatively high, stablecoins are a practical way to hold value in dollars without a foreign bank account. The same wallet that holds these stablecoins can now hold shares in companies like Apple or Amazon. This new Reality integration bypasses the need for a second app or brokerage account, saving users from the friction of multiple platforms with separate KYC processes and brokerage accounts.

Currently available on the Bitget Wallet app are rNVDA, rTSLA, rAAPL, rAMZN, rSPY, and rQQQ, among over 1,700 US stocks and ETFs. As demand for tokenized assets grows, Bitget Wallet intends to expand its asset coverage and deepen protocol integrations.
