Hyderabad Shocker: Auto Driver Beaten To Death In Front Of Wife, Children Over ₹10 Change Dispute

In the early evening hours of Sunday, a shocking incident occurred in Vattapally, under the jurisdiction of Rajendranagar Police Station in Hyderabad. A 42-year-old auto-rickshaw driver, Muhammad Mukarram, was brutally beaten to death allegedly by a group of individuals following a heated argument over a mere ₹10 fare dispute. The incident took place in broad daylight, in front of Mukarram's wife and children.

Upon hearing about the tragic incident, AIMIM Bahadurpura MLA Mohd Mubeen promptly reached the spot. He identified the deceased as Mohammed Mukarram, a local resident. Mubeen alleged that the argument began over the minor issue of a ₹10 change, which started with Mukarram being given a ₹200 note for a fare of just ₹10.

According to Mubeen, the situation quickly escalated when the aggrieved party, identified as Azeem, and his associates arrived on the scene. Azeem, who claims to be a news reporter, began abusing Mukarram before summoning his associates to beat him to death. This brutal act took place right in front of Mukarram's family, causing immense distress to the victim's wife and children.

Mubeen further claimed that the accused individuals were known troublemakers in the locality, often involved in hooliganism and creating unrest in the Vattapally area. He emphasized that this is the second murder on the same road within a month, highlighting the growing concern in the community.

The MLA appealed to senior police officials, including the DCP Rajendranagar and the Hyderabad Police Commissioner, to take swift action against those responsible. He urged for immediate arrest of the accused, strict legal action, and increased patrolling in the area to prevent such senseless violence in the future. Mubeen reiterated the family's demand for justice and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
