Honor 600 Elite Packs 5G and AI Features Into a Rugged Build

The Honor 600 Elite 5G, the fourth device in Honor's global Honor 600 series, has been announced for the Latin American market. This new iteration emphasizes battery endurance and robustness. It is equipped with an 8,100mAh battery, IP69K protection, SGS-certified drop resistance, and several AI-driven features.

The device boasts a 6.87-inch TFT LCD screen of 1592 × 720 pixels resolution, offering a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,020 nits peak brightness. Durability is a key feature, as the phone has earned IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance under controlled laboratory conditions. It can withstand temperatures up to 85°C and has undergone 10,000 water exposure cycles. The device can endure drops from heights of up to 2.5 meters in lab tests.

The Honor 600 Elite 5G is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset, accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Honor's RAM Turbo feature can augment this to up to 24GB-equivalent virtual RAM. The phone operates on MagicOS 10.0, built on Android 16. An AI button provides quick access to functions like AI Summary, AI Writing, Circle to Search, and AI Memory.

Additional hardware includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and dual speakers supporting a 400% volume boost. Connectivity options comprise 5G, 4G LTE, dual Nano SIM support, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The camera setup features a 108MP main rear camera with an f/1.75 aperture, a 5MP front camera, and AI 2.0 that can transform still images into videos.

The standout feature of this device is its 8,100mAh battery, rated at 7,900mAh, supporting 45W Honor SuperCharge. The battery is designed to function effectively within temperatures ranging from -30°C to 50°C, promising up to six years of durability and performance. The pricing and release date for the Honor 600 Elite 5G have not yet been disclosed.
