Galaxy phones have an app delay problem, but Samsung is on the case

Samsung is currently investigating a delay issue with the DIY Home feature on Galaxy phones. While regular folders operate without any problems, hidden folders are experiencing a delay in displaying app icons. This bug surfaced following the installation of One UI 9. Customization is a key feature that attracts many users to Samsung devices.

Good Lock, a software suite, enables users to personalize their Android experience with various modules. However, the Home Up module within Good Lock seems to be malfunctioning after the latest update. Galaxy users have noticed an issue with the DIY Home, a Home Up feature that allows users to arrange, rotate, resize, and overlap app icons, widgets, and folders.

The problem specifically pertains to hidden folders. A user demonstrated the issue through a screen recording, showing a brief pause between opening a hidden folder and the icons becoming visible. In contrast, opening a standard folder does not exhibit this delay.
