The 23-year-old has not started a Premier League game since the new season began, so he will have to wait at least three weeks before potentially returning to action. Michael Carrick revealed that Rashford withdrew from the Fulham match due to a slight 'issue' he experienced in the closing stages.

Mainoo's exit was met with boos from the away fans, but it appears that he was not fully fit, leading to his withdrawal. United's next match is against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, October 10 at Old Trafford.
