Fauji Foods CEO Quits

Usman Zaheer Ahmed has stepped down as Chief Executive Officer of Fauji Foods Limited, with his resignation taking effect on September 18, 2026, according to a notice issued to the Pakistan Stock Exchange. The company informed that Mr. Ahmed will continue to serve as CEO until his notice period concludes, adhering to the company's standard policies.

Fauji Foods disclosed that its Board of Directors will eventually appoint a successor to the CEO position. The firm also expressed its gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Ahmed for his substantial contributions and service to the organization. Usman Zaheer Ahmad embarked on his journey at Fauji Foods in March 2022, assuming the role of CEO after a tenure in senior leadership positions across the consumer goods industry.

He boasts over two decades of experience in both local and international markets, having held senior roles at Engro Foods and British American Tobacco, among others. Prior to his appointment at Fauji Foods, Mr. Ahmed served as CEO of Nishat Sutas Dairy. Fauji Foods Limited has its origins dating back to 1966, when its predecessor, Noon Pakistan, was incorporated.

The company became a part of the Fauji Group in 2015 following the acquisition of Noon Pakistan, and has since expanded its portfolio to include dairy and food products, featuring the Nurpur and Dostea brands.
