Former Crystal Palace forward Clinton Morrison commended defensive performances by Calvin Bassey during Fulham's 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Craven Cottage on Sunday. The Nigerian international displayed impressive defensive awareness by regaining possession from Matheus Cunha, advancing forward, and striking the ball towards Senne Lammens' goal.

Despite Lammens deflection, the ball struck Martinez, rebounding into the net. Morrison praised Bassey's contribution, saying, "That sums Man United up. Morrison also criticized Manchester United players for their involvement in conceding the goal, stating, "It is a straightforward save for Lammens to execute, and he mishandles it, redirecting it towards Martinez.
