Elon Musk’s mom isn’t fussy about where she sleeps either—Maye Musk stays in a garage when she visits the Tesla CEO in Texas

Elon Musk, the world's richest individual with an estimated fortune of $942 billion, has shown flexibility when it comes to sleeping arrangements. Currently, the Tesla CEO resides in an Airstream trailer in Memphis, Texas, to oversee the expansion of xAI, a supercomputer project. Musk's mother, Maye Musk, a writer and model, also demonstrated a similar attitude towards accommodations during a recent appearance on Fox Business.

When visiting her son in Texas, Maye admitted to sleeping in a garage, stating, "It’s a small house and a small bed in the garage." She added, "And I can sleep there, or 45 minutes to go in a suite in a hotel. No, I’ll sleep in the garage." Maye revealed that her own career often allows her to enjoy opulent accommodations, yet she is not opposed to sleeping on the floor or couch, as she did when her children were at university.
