Dior opens Dubai distribution hub to speed up Middle East deliveries

Dior has inaugurated a new distribution center in Dubai South, located at the EZDubai Logistics Hub. The 7,200-square-meter facility aims to expedite product availability, enhance boutique replenishment, and bolster the Middle Eastern e-commerce operations of the luxury fashion house. The center, spanning two levels, will handle inventory, order fulfillment, and replenishment for Dior boutiques across the Middle East.

By positioning inventory closer to regional markets, Dior seeks to expedite boutique restocking and improve product availability across the region. The hub is designed to strengthen Dior's supply chain operations, providing greater control over stock movement between the distribution center and boutiques. Nabil Alkindi, Group CEO of Dubai South, expressed satisfaction at welcoming Dior to the logistics ecosystem, highlighting Dubai South's role in enabling companies to manage supply chains, connect with key markets, and support long-term expansion.

The UAE e-commerce operations of Dior will also benefit from the new center, alongside its physical boutique network. The location at EZDubai provides access to Jebel Ali Port via a bonded logistics corridor and proximity to Al Maktoum International Airport, enabling seamless air, sea, and road transportation. The facility has achieved LEED Gold certification and aligns with Dior's sustainability efforts, incorporating measures such as optimizing transport flows, eliminating single-use plastics, and promoting sea freight.

To meet the growing demand for swift deliveries, Dior will deploy electric vehicles for last-mile deliveries in the UAE.
