Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) and Strathmore University have secured six relay squad spots for the Open Lanes Varsity Invitational finals, scheduled for October 3, 2026, at Nyayo National Stadium. This success follows a rigorous two-day knockout stage. The championship will see top university runners compete for the title, with four standout student-athletes receiving all-expenses-paid trips to South Africa to compete in the elite running circuit.
