Cosmo Developments launches Dh6 billion 'The Wadi' project in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi-based Cosmo Developments, a joint venture between Flag Holding Group and Reportage Group, has initiated The Wadi, a mixed-use residential project on Yas Island with an estimated investment of Dh6 billion. Reportage Group oversees the development and delivery, followed by long-term management. Spanning approximately 140,700 square meters, The Wadi features 3,950 units, including studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, alongside commercial, recreational, and sports facilities.

A hotel is also planned within the master plan. Drawing inspiration from the UAE's landscapes and waterways, The Wadi emphasizes nature in its design. The project adopts a nature-led philosophy, redefining community living. The master plan centers around a central valley, creating open and landscaped areas, pedestrian paths, a waterfront, and a yacht marina.

The Wadi is situated on Yas Canal, a developing waterfront destination with luxury developments and landscaped promenades. It's about five minutes from Zayed International Airport, nine minutes from Ferrari World Yas Island, and 11 minutes from central Abu Dhabi. The development includes parks and sports facilities, such as tennis clubs, gyms, spas, and children's areas.

Standard units come with fitted kitchens, tiled bathrooms, double-glazed windows, central air-conditioning, and parking. Climate-responsive features like landscaped balconies, green areas, and strategic building orientation further enhance the site's environmental character. Andrea Nucera, Cosmo Developments' Managing Director, stated, "The Wadi represents our evolving approach to mixed-use residential communities that respond to their location, residents' needs, and market expectations."

The Wadi integrates residential, commercial, hospitality, and leisure uses, reflecting a comprehensive community development approach.
