Cosmo Developments launches Dh6 billion 'The Wadi' project in Abu Dhabi

Cosmo Developments, a collaboration between Abu Dhabi-based Flag Holding Group and Reportage Group, has introduced The Wadi, a mixed-use residential project on Yas Island, with an estimated investment of Dh6 billion. This development, overseen by Reportage Group, spans 140,700 square metres and is set to offer 3,950 residences, ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments, along with commercial, recreational, and sports facilities, including a hotel.

The Wadi draws inspiration from the UAE's landscapes and water cycles, aiming to create a community that embodies the relationship between land, water, and life. The project's central valley will serve as the core of open and landscaped areas, complemented by pedestrian paths, a waterfront, and a yacht marina. Situated along Yas Canal, The Wadi is a short drive from Zayed International Airport, Ferrari World Yas Island, and Yas Island itself, while central Abu Dhabi is a 23-minute drive away.

Key amenities include parks, sports and leisure facilities such as tennis clubs, gyms, spas, and children’s areas, along with restaurants and retail spaces. The design incorporates local elements like native plants, ghaf and palm trees, water features, and landscaped pathways. Units may feature private balconies or terraces, featuring fitted kitchens, tiled bathrooms, double-glazed windows, central air conditioning, and parking.

Andrea Nucera, Managing Director at Cosmo Developments and Group Managing Director at Reportage Group, emphasized that The Wadi embodies their approach to creating mixed-use residential communities that align with their location, residents' needs, and market expectations. It introduces a nature-led design philosophy that redefines how communities are envisioned and valued over time.
