Congress leaders ‘raiding’ legal properties of BRS leaders: Praveen Kumar

Former IPS officer and BRS general secretary R.S. Praveen Kumar has accused Congress leaders, including MPs Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy and Mallu Ravi, as well as MLCs Addanki Dayakar and Balmuri Venkat, of illegally raiding the private property of T. Harish Rao. The police, Praveen Kumar claims, stood idly by while the Congress members, accompanied by police security, conducted searches in farm fields and private properties.

This incident echoes a previous event where a defected MLA, Arekapudi Gandhi, was escorted by police to attack a BRS MLA, Padi Kaushik Reddy.

Praveen Kumar questions whether BRS leaders would be granted the same privilege to raid the private property of the Chief Minister or his relatives. He also highlights other instances of alleged corruption and misuse of power by Congress leaders. These include MLA B. Manohar Reddy's involvement in land deals and the encroachment of ₹300 crore worth of land at Tummalur by another ruling party MLA.

Additionally, Praveen Kumar mentions the violent attack on a Dalit family following an inter-caste marriage in Gadwal Assembly Constituency, an area represented by Mallu Ravi's Nagarkurnool Parliamentary Constituency.

The Congress leaders, Praveen Kumar asserts, are targeting those who fought for Telangana statehood, questioning their legitimacy while remaining indifferent to the illegal actions of their own party members.
