Apple rolls out second Release Candidates for macOS Tahoe 26.7.1 and macOS Sequoia 15.8.1

Apple has released the second round of release candidates for its macOS Tahoe 26.7.1 and macOS Sequoia 15.8.1 updates, following their initial release last week. The previous announcement came alongside the launch of macOS 27.2 beta 1, a departure from expectations of a regular beta 1 for macOS 27.1 and corresponding versions for the other two operating systems.

While macOS 27.2 beta 1 brought enhancements for French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish languages in Siri AI, the macOS Tahoe 26.7.1 and macOS Sequoia 15.8.1 betas were more straightforward, highlighting only the inclusion of "important security fixes" and recommending their use by all users.

However, the release builds for these updates are 25G313 for macOS Tahoe 26.7.1 RC 2 and 24H212 for macOS Sequoia 15.8.1’s second RC.
