Former Prime Minister LK Advani, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, and Election Commissioner SS Sandhu are among several high-profile individuals who have received notices for discrepancies in their voter details according to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process. The SIR exercise, which has resulted in the issuance of over 33.13 lakh notices across 97 lakh voters, involves comparing enumeration forms with the last SIR of 2002.

SS Sandhu, the Election Commissioner of India, has had his details validated and will be included in the final electoral roll after submitting required documents. However, LK Advani, Jaishankar, Dhankhar, and Gupta have been issued notices as their voter records did not match the information from the 2002 SIR. The electoral rolls have been published online by the Delhi Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), and some prominent figures, including Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, ex-Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, and former JNU Vice Chancellor M Jagadesh Kumar, are also among those receiving notices.

The discrepancy alerts are based on built-in algorithms that flag logical inconsistencies between the last electoral roll and the enumeration forms. The notices do not imply that the electors' names will be removed from the rolls; they merely aim to correct the voter data in the ECINET system. The Election Commission of India initiated the SIR process in Delhi on May 14, aiming to include all eligible citizens while excluding ineligible individuals.

The draft electoral roll was made available on the CEO's website and other designated locations, and electors have been categorized accordingly.
